Laurent Trupin, Inspector of Finances, former Director at Carrefour and former DG of the “Invest in France agency” (AFII), has been helping companies to understand European institutions and markets for more than 10 years.
Founded in 2012, 3BS has now grown to a team of ten employees and experts who intervene with the European institutions, in most Member States and some emerging countries, notably in Africa.
With diversified private and public sector experience, several proven local correspondents and through in-depth work in close collaboration with our clients, we help them identify market opportunities, understand the relevant market rules, be well informed on potential partners’ activities and get access to funding.

Since March 2017, 3BS Consulting represents the companies of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP) in Brussels and Paris. The aim is to encourage trade flows and promote cross investments between Europe and Portuguese-speaking countries.
3BS provides support-to-export and prospection services, carrying out market studies and seeking business partners for those companies.
The CPLP is a multilateral organisation similar to the OIF (Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie), and counts 9 founding members: Portugal, Brazil, but also six African countries (Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Sao Tome and Principe, Guinea-Bissau and Equatorial Guinea) and one Asian country, East Timor.
